Aurora O’Bryan is a second-generation maritime attorney at O’Bryan Baun Karamanian, where she focuses her practice on representing maritime workers and passengers injured aboard nautical vessels. She earned both her Juris Doctor (JD) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Loyola University Chicago in 2023. Aurora is licensed to practice law in the states of Illinois and Michigan and routinely appears in federal courts nationwide, offering legal services to clients across the country.
Before launching her legal career, Aurora worked in marketing and business development, advising a range of clients from startups to Fortune 500 corporations. She began practicing law at a boutique firm in Chicago, Illinois, where she leveraged her business background to support clients in their business and commercial disputes.
However, having spent many school-break summers working at O’Bryan Baun Karamanian and traveling across the country with founding attorney Dennis O’Bryan to meet maritime workers in the field, she gained an early and lasting appreciation for the firm’s mission and a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by those in the maritime industry. This led to her officially joining the team in 2024.
