Sean J. O’Bryan, Esq.

 

Sean J. O’Bryan is an admiralty attorney at O’Bryan Baun Karamanian. He represents individuals who suffer serious injuries in maritime and admiralty accidents, railroad accidents, and auto accidents. Mr. O’Bryan also represents the families and loved ones of individuals who suffered a wrongful death. In addition, Mr. O’Bryan also represents UBER and LYFT passengers and drivers in ride-sharing injury actions, including auto negligence and No-Fault litigation.

Licensed to practice in state and federal court in Michigan and Illinois, Sean O’Bryan has successfully fought on behalf of clients in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, New York, Missouri, Michigan, Illinois, and other states.

Prior to joining O’Bryan Baun Karamanian, Sean O’Bryan graduated from Loyola University School of Law and the Quinlan School of Business Master’s Program with a concentration in Law. Having worked in Chancery Division in Circuit Court of Cook County in Chicago’s Richard J. Daley Center under the Honorable Ronald F. Bartkowicz as an extern, Mr. O’Bryan has a comprehensive knowledge of not only civil procedure, but also the rules of evidence, and advanced business litigation. Mr. O’Bryan holds a certification in Tax Law.

Before attending law school, Mr. O’Bryan attended Loyola University Chicago where he received dual degrees in Finance and Marketing, interning for companies like Meltwater News and BrokersXpress Chicago. He attended the John Felice Rome Center for one semester where he studied international finance and business in Rome, IT. During an internship with US Senator Debbie Stabenow in Washington, D.C. in 2009, he worked with her political aides on pending bills, regarding Alternative Energy, vis-a-vis Battery-Powered Vehicles, National Finance, and Great Lakes Water Diversion Management.

Sean enjoys spending time with his family of 9, event-planning, following politics, and dabbling in the entrepreneurial tech industry. During law school, he served as an executive member of the Catholic Lawyer’s Guild and member of Phi Beta Kappa. He has been awarded with Top 40 under 40 Lawyers in Illinois and in Michigan.
